Hello, what are your expectations towards this event and how did your team prepare?
We try to keep our standard high so we're obviously going there for the title but I guess top3 wouldn't be that bad, the competition is very tough over there. Well I guess we'll have to settle with some online practice before going to Bilbao. We'll have to see how people feel about playing after ESWC and how things go there. Only problem is that we have this tendency of ... well.. unseriousness in online practice. But we'll probably put in good few hours of practice before heading over.
Why did your team decide to attend the event?
Why? That's a silly question - GameGune is one of the last big events for this year and possibly the whole game :)
Are there any teams you would like to play against and any you would rather not play?
There's definitely no team I'd rather not play. I would love to play Fnatic as they are in my eyes the one team besides ourselves who have definitely a shot at winning the whole thing. I wouldn't mind playing the Brazilians either! Personally I'll take 'em as they come!
In your opinion, which teams are going to be the toughest? Which teams do you fear the most?
Just like I said in the previous question it's probably Fnatic, maybe mibr also if they play as flawlessly as lthey can. There's plenty of other teams who have what it takes to go far in the tournament, it really depends on the day. There's no team I fear, that would count as a weakness. But of course there are teams that give me an extra amount of concentration just because of who they are. But definitely no fear for anyone :)
Where will you be staying during the event, and will you do other stuff besides attending GameGune?
I really don't have an idea at this point :D Hmm well we have Finnish WCG qualifier in August. Don't know what's after that. We´ll have to see I guess!
What is your stand on the whole CS1.6 vs. CS:S debate going on at the moment, which game do you prefer, and which do you see yourselves playing in 1-2 years?
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that I prefer CS 1.6 but as it seems it's inevitable that everyone has to make the switch over to CS:S eventually or give up playing. I'm going to be pessimistic here and say next year it's going to be CS:S all the way. Will I be playing it? That's to be seen next year I guess!
Thank you! Anything you want to add?
No problemo! SLEEP IS THE ENEMY? ::D
