Global - walth

Hello, what are your expectations towards this event and how did your team prepare?

Hey! We haven't really discussed expectations within our team, but personally, I just expect to have a fun trip with the guys, and of course try to go as far as possible in the CS tournament. I think we have quite a good chance at taking down some of the attending top teams, but we'll see ;).

Why did your team decide to attend the event?

Well we contacted GameGune before the ESWC qual, and asked if we could attend, because we wanted to attend as many international events as possible, to get some experience as a team etc. GameGune told us that they didn't know much about us, and that they hadn't really seen any results from us. After the ESWC qual, where we (as you probably know) qualified, we contacted them again and they allowed us to at

Are there any teams you would like to play against and any you would rather not play?

I would like to play against teams such as SK, mouz and mibr, just for the experience. I wouldn't say there's any team in particular I wouldn't play against, perhaps the Danish team(s) attending, because the Danish teams know each other so well.

In your opinion, which teams are going to be the toughest? Which teams do you fear the most?

I think the teams I mentioned above, SK, mouz and mibr, all are going to end in the top5. Hopefully alongside Ideal and Global Gaming ;). As I also said before, I don't really fear anyone in particular..

Where will you be staying during the event, and will you do other stuff besides attending GameGune?

I think we're gonna stay at the event area, the admins told us there was a place where it was possible to sleep, because of the long distance between the nearest hotel, which, as far as I know, is a couple of kilometers. Outside of the GameGune-event, I think we're just gonna hang out with some of the other teams, relax and stuff.. Maybe play some poker or something - sightseeing isn't really our thing I guess :D.

What is your stand on the whole CS1.6 vs. CS:S debate going on at the moment, which game do you prefer, and which do you see yourselves playing in 1-2 years?

Personally I hope that CS 1.6 will stay for a couple of years, but I don't think it's realistic. Some of the topteams have already anounced that they're switching to source in 2008, so who knows what will happen. I haven't really tried Source more than once or twice, and I think it's kind of a weird game compared to 1.6. But we'll see, I'm willing to give Source a chance.

Thank you! Anything you want to add?

You're welcome. I would like to thank our sponsors: CS-Hosting.dk anduniversalGaming.net. Also a big shoutout to telli's father (he knows why :D)! See you in Spain!
