goodgame (Baldours, MaYeRs, OliGan, Dr.Crow, Blqcko)
GoodGame is the other French representative and in spite of a bad season, they managed to be play well on the day and now they are preparing themselves for the ESWC. It's unknown that the team will end up after this event, but what is for sure is that they want to finish with an amaizing result and they have the means to offer themselves this result. Dr.Crow has been the player to look out for in the current season, with Blqcko- being a young and skilled player. OliGan is one of the best French players and Baldours and Mayers are too old players who are keeping the house. So this underestimated mix of players may do something great at ESWC!
Dignitas (Rattlesnk, Reality, Mx, wilz00, KritiKaL)
Almost everybody was waiting for 4Kings at the ESWC, but fate decided it otherwise. Dignitas took the spot, beating 4Kings for the second time after the WCG.uk at the beginning of the season. But their performances in Europe are not incredible and since their shgOpen they made several changes to get the final lineup looting c4u. The lead of RattleSnk is an old school leader, being always efficient and the players are among of the best British ones. This fully Bristish lineup representing Great Britain is a good thing for the country and passing the first Group Stage is not a fishy idea for dignitas.
mugNmouse (go0ber, MuMiX, sinyster, slick, Gosu)
Few are the American team who have kept playing CS 1.6 with the great lure of the CGS in Counter-Strike Source. mugNmouse is one of these, and has participated this week-end at the WSVG where they have got their ticket for the ESWC. They haven't needed to go far in the competition to get their spot, since every American team attending the event lost its matches versus the Europeans. Their victory 16-06 versus Talent offered them the ESWC spot but we have been disappointed by the American level. mNm will be in Paris more to visit than to win, but they may play the role of gatecrasher in an open group.
plan-B (john, sNic, headi, mazze, madswey)
They are, with n!faculty unmistakably the best and the only two Austrian teams that can hope for something outside of their Borders. Plan-B managed to take the spot and now they will try to fight against the badluck of Austrian teams. Actually we have seen in the European events that they were good, they managed to score a lot but they missed the little thing that make the difference. Their predecessors didn't qualify for the second group stage but it was close, and if they are lucky they may do better than DRW since it fully depends on their direct opponents.
oNFiRe (Neek0, met, Ev1L, MILENKO, hawaii)
We are more used to seeing Man1a rather than oNFiRe representing Bulgaria in the World. It's really hard to guess what level they will be at but since they have managed to qualify it means they have beaten man1a and in the latest month man1a did a good job in Europe. Their aim will be to pass the first stage and it will depend on their group but like a lot of underdogs, they are the kind of team that on a map can make an incredible match and choke their opponent. It's sure that no team know what is their level, so they may take advantage and go back to Sofia with the honours!
LS-Exotic (prd, impada, zews, spacca, guerri)
The third Brazilian team attending to this ESWC. They are under the level of MiBR or g3x but the moral boost brung about by these teams may have pushed them to the top. The ocean that is splitting Europe and America implies that we don't really know the level of such a team and it's quite hard to compare it with European teams, but MiBR won last year and now we are waiting for good results from Brazilian teams. LS-Exotic remains an unknown and the teams that will be fighting versus them will have to be careful and not underestimate the Brazilians. Wait and see for their performance!
Defusekids (Apollo, Bax, Luce, Ofkeli, xire)
They have been in the esport background for a while and are used to representing Belgium in international events. Even if their qualification was an easy task for them, it seems that this ESWC will be hard work and they will need to be lucky if they want to pass the first groupstage. Ofkeli and xire have replaced Minto and tommeh, but their fourth place of fifth under the tag digitalMind last year at the ESWC Group Stage is hard to forget even though they had one of the hardest groups.
digitalMind (muh, r0y, tommeh, trx, seezung)
Also coming from Benelux, it seems that digitalMind is gathering more expectations than defusekids. In fact, their recent escapade at the Dreamhack where they ranked second being disqualified because they didn't record is a clue about their current level. Moreover they have seemed under a lot of teams in Clanbase Eurocup XV winning one only match versus DEFEATERS. In brief, the digitalMind who finished top16 at the shgOpen will need to play at 100% in all of their matches if they want to go through their first group stage.
FU.sk (Dev1, uNreaL, chees, euro, Gr3g1)
FU.sk has always been fighting with defeaters in Slovakia and this time they have got the spot. They are the kind of team we see in a lot tournaments. They rarely win but they are there, in the background and are able to do make encounters. Do they have the skill level to pass the group stage? Certainly not but they will play their role of heckler of the established order and can surprise a challenger. Regarding the lineup, we see skilled players who are playing together for a while and so who have great teamwork.
