Could you please introduce yourself and your team in regards to the Scan Team NFF tournament?
My name's paul bennett, the team Turtle was formed especially for the scan competition with the idea that if we win we'll play on together as a serious clan.
The online qualification stage is about to begin. What do you think of the group you have been entered into?
I've never heard of any of the teams, we'll probably win it with ease (no offence to any of the teams).
There is much competition for the number one spot. How do you think you will do?
If all goes according to plan and practice we should be in the running for the top spot, the lan is still long way away so anything can happen.
Who do you think will be the toughest opponents in the competition?
Only know two teams in the competition, high5 and virtouso, I guess those two teams. Also ONESIX|Fox has some moves, but I'm sure there are other teams I just dont know them.
This event is the biggest thing in the UK at the moment. Do you see it as a turning point for national esports in general?
It gives other teams a chance other then 4Kings to do something on the international stage; so yes I guess so, whoever wins the event will have the means to do well.
Over ninety teams have entered the competition, surely there has been much strain on the organisers. How has it been for the likes of yourself, the competitors?
For us personally there has been some confusion on whether we're a mix team or not, and two of our players have been in another team for a month playing in Holland, but we sorted that out over the last week or so. It's a lot of teams, this is the biggest event the UK has had ever I think, so well done to the organisers for giving it ago and so far doing a good job of it.
Finally, would you like to warn the competition how good you are? Or maybe you'd just like to use this space for general shoutouts? It's all yours.
