- And how come you guys do not have KODE5 tickets?

DP|xylm: - The organizers of the KODE5 Turkey was very uninterested in our visas and us after the tournament finished. For the visas we needed an invitation, but Süleyman "Altay" Kirkpinar, the head admin of the Turkish Company Gamecity-tr, who organized the KODE5 Turkey "couldn't" help us. He always said that he had connections to the embassy in Ankara and could help us till the last 4 days, and then he said if we had ordered it by the embassy in Ankara there would be no problems, but in Istanbul he could not do anything.

So 4 days before our "flight" on Tuesday we talked with the KODE5 head admins for an invitation, onthe first day they sent us one in english and without a Firm stamp and the Chinese embassy said to us that this is not enough. Then we ordered one with a stamp again and they accepted it on Friday and told us to come on Monday for the visas. We paid 50 dollars per person extra so that they would make it in one day. On Saturday he told us the flight numbers because 'kul1', the head admin of KODE5, needed it and we gave it to him. But we checked the numbers, just to make sure they really existed and were shocked after we called Lufthansa,Turkish Airlines and the Air China, no one heard about our names, so we tried to tell 'Altay' the situation, but he was not available at phone or at msn, not even irc. You must know that this guy is online every day, but 5 days before an project which he was organizing he wasn't online, thats weird.

On Monday morning 'Altay' said to us "There is no problem, I will get the information at 15 CET and tell you", so we waited untill we noticed around 16 CET that his homepage 'gamecity-tr.net' was closed by him and that he stated that he was sorry to the whole community for making the mistake.

The problem is not that he couldn't bring us to China, the problem is that he lied all the time. If he would say; "guys I couldn't bring you to China", we then could have had chance to find another way to travel to China, but thanks to his never existing courage he wouldnt say the truth, and so we can't go to China and play in KODE5 Finals.
