Losemann - Oozing with confidence

Assistant manager Losemann believes that a touch of fantasy will be added to his squad at the upcoming WC3L finals in Changsha, China.

Surprisingly enough, the Danish-based team has claimed the title only once despite competing in 9 seasons of the world’s most prestigious Warcraft 3 league. Losemann however, believes that it was a combination of bad luck and lack of preparation.

“Somehow we have not enough luck to win this league. But we will try to force luck to be on our side this time. I am really confident that we can manage to win the title this time,” he said.

“Grubby is already in China practicing with the guys. Moon is doing better at the moment and Lucifer and Susiria are in a small bootcamp. That makes me confident about the performances at the WC3L finals.

“Nordahl and me were talking a lot about WC3L lately and we are really hot to take home the title this time. We are not willing to take such a long trip to China and get a poor finish in the end. I know we can do it and we do our best to accomplish this goal.”

MYM started the 13^th season with a series of unsatisfactory performances after losing to teams like mousesports and the now-defunct Beijing E-Sports Team.

“First, we had problems with Susiria who undergone an eye surgery, which made him nearly unable to play, but he decided to play anyways.

“Another reason was also because there were a lot of tournaments that came up it was hard to focus on this season.

“I think we could have done a lot better, but a perfect online season does not guarantee you a perfect offline performance. Offline tournament is completely different compared to the online season and everything can happen there.

“Nonetheless, we will try to step up and finish this season in a bang. We will also try to be much better next season without many roster changes.”

The 22-year-old who has been part of the star-studded squad for over a year also believes that his players have what it takes to secure the title for the first time in 2 years.

“I didn’t expect Moon to do that good in PGL, but as I hear from him, he is training a lot and trying everything possible to finish this season good.

“Susiria was in China for a long time and tried to finish good in PGL, somehow it did not work out but he had a super hard group with Sky and Lyn. Well I hope he can finally show his skills at the finals.

“Grubby is actually a constant player who always tries to improve his matchups, and Lucifer can be a beast once he is unleashed and we try to get the inside-beast out at the right moment.”

Despite facing tough rivals, SK-Gaming in the first round, Losemann claims that World Elite make of a more formidable opponent.

He added: “We are ok in facing SK and we would be ok in facing everyone. We are just preparing to meet SK and we will show that we can also win them in WC3L format.

“World Elite is the strongest team in my eyes. suhO is playing very good in PGL3, Sky and Infi are just imba humans, and then you have to see LiKe and TeD, the undead beast performed so well at RoTK.

“But if you look at SK they have super players too, and Mouz is not a weak team either.”

Just like ROTK, Losemann will also be looking forward to meet the buoyant fans in China as well as an epic event in Changsha.

“I love Chinese fans, I love it when they cheer and I love the atmosphere in the events there. The fans and the hype over there is completely different and it is cool to give such an event to China, then everybody can see if it was a wise decision

“And I am also looking forward to have a strong admin team behind the teams like Baschi, Jupe and Shawn.

“They all have a great sense for teams and they can handle stuff really well. I am also looking forward to meet my players again, who are not just players for me, they are my friends.”
