MYM Pride #9 playoffs announced
Anticipation has never been higher as the community awaits to see if another team can defeat

Right before the final stage starts, we had the chance to talk with
Virtus.NS, 
MYM|Maelk, 
PenguinQ and kM-Zenition about their thoughts on the Playoff stage. Here's what they had to say:
| " I am not especially surprised by results of a group stage, in my opinion, in top-16 we see only very strong commands, worthy to be here. The main surprise for me - defeat Zenith, is very a pity, that this magnificent command has lost because of laggy host... Defeat SRS certainly too is unexpected, but Lomiki - very quite good mix of Russian players which too can show good game. If the brackets will be not changed, I think we again can see final Virtus.Pro vs MYM, but, everyone can happen. Some commands were very strongly prepared for tournament and can surprise all. First of all I speak about WG, also SK, TeG and mouz, on a number with MYM and VP, - these commands are, in my opinion, the main favorites. Also i think KS will show intresting game one more time. That speaking about us, we are ready to take our fourth title and we do not doubt nearly, that we can make it :) It will be very interesting tournament and strongest will take a win. " |
 MYM|Maelk | " I think the playoffs are going to be interesting. Most of the teams through to the next stage was expected, but also a few teams I have no experience with made it through. I'm surprised, and a bit disappointed, with some of the topteams not making it through. " |
| " I think the best teams made it to the playoffs, as for my team and how far we can make it, were a mix just playing for fun, kinda iteresting to see how far we make it. " |
kMzenition | " Well, I'm overly surprised with the result of the preliminaries, basically i didn't expect this crowd to be in the remaining 16. All of the top teams are still there, but more of the regular 8-16's have been replaced with teams from qualifier. MYM and Virtus.Pro are in a league for themselves, I don't think anyone will be able to meddle with their almost solid performance each tournament. But the remainder of the teams I am uncertain about, about 5-6 teams have meddled in which we have not seen much of before and therefore uncertain of their skill-level. WG for example seems very strong, almost solely because of Travka. Another russian team [LOMiki] has also proceeded to the playoff stage, and you never know about the russian teams, if you look at OKHO last tournament and Asus Cup, Traffic surprised alot, also tN last pride. I feel we have a good chance in the playoffs, but since we are the underdogs we will have to prove ourself, which will be hard if we start out against MYM, VP, Ks or eMg. The way i see it we have everything to win and nothing to loose. " |
