Daniel Thornell aka Papa Nostra as I like to call him is as you can read not a part of MYM and or Regroup Esports A/S anymore, that is per. 1. January 2008. And a long story short is that we unfortunately couldn’t come to an agreement on a contract renewal for 2008/2009, which is what happens sadly sometimes.

Nostra came on board as family back when Regroup Esports A/S purchased the ESN site in August 2006 and has since then handled the content on the various MYM sites and later on also acted as a great Counter-Strike manager for our 1.6 division.

Sadly the era has come to an end today and I would like to thank Daniel for all the work he has made, the things he has changed and especially him for simply being him, he is a magnificent person you cannot help to love, as he spreads joy and good mood all around him and I, Regroup Esporta A/S and MYM wish him and his family all the best and hope he settles well in his new job. And for a personal ending on this then “Nostra, see you on LAN! <3”

Having known Nostra for more than a couple of years, I know that it's some pretty serious boots I have to fill out now. I feel confident that I can do it though, because along the ride I have one of the best editorial crews in eSports. Be sure to hang around because we got a lot of new stuff for you in 2008!

While it is sad to see a person like Daniel leaving us, we have to look forward. And although I cry with one eye, I still smile with the other. Today we can announce the appointment of Marcus "Wind" Ho, who has been the editor in chief at wNv-gaming.com. Marcus will be in charge of the WarCraft 3 section, and I'm really looking foward to watch how his approach to the job will reflect in more and better content for our users.

We are also strengthening ourselves in other areas, and I'm really looking forward to show our users what we are capable of in 2008.
