Fire in Ice 2007 DotA LAN UPDATE

Fire In Ice

The famous team from Internationa- MYM.DotA, two well known top American teams, eMazing Gaming and Team Pandemic, and 13 other teams, will take part in the Fire in Ice DotA LAN event, sponsored by Dust Off, in the Ignite Network's state-of-the-art LAN Center in Chicago, Illinois. While most DotA-tournaments are hosted in either Asia or Europe, the Fire in Ice-event is actually one of the biggest in the world so far. A prizepot with 10.000$ in it + hardware prizes, has lured the European based MYM.DotA-team over the pond, to compete with their American counterparts.

DEC 27th:
20-00 CET: Upper Bracket Round One
01-05 CET: Upper Bracket Round Two and Lower Bracket Round One

DEC 28th:
19-21 CET: Lower Bracket Round Two
21-23 CET: Upper Bracket Round Three and Lower Bracket Round Three
23-01 CET: Upper Bracket Finals and Lower Bracket Round Four
03-05 CET: Lower Bracket Finals

DEC 29th:
19-21 CET: Consolation Finals
21-05 CET: Grand Finals

Day 1 is finished now and both Internationa- Pandemic, MYM.DotA and eMg had an easy day in upperbracket. All three teams had walkovers in the first round of winnerbracket and went straight over their opponents in the 2nd round. Now in the 3rd round we will probably see some great action as TPD and eMg will clash! MYM will be facing trNs for a place in the WB-Final.

They way MyM played it was great. The way they use Necromicons and that Bristleback to falter the opponent is very well executed. I felt that Emg could do better though. ;) Meh... Expression is the key to individuality
