Razer TSL *Grandfinal*

tsl

To all you StarCraft fans, it’s no secret that TeamLiquid.net became almost synonymous with “pro-gaming”; they have been constantly bringing us closer to the Korean scene with news, articles, VODs and much more.

The TSL is one of the best things to happen to our StarCraft community and we all know it, and with a prize pool of $10,000, no wonder that over 1700 players tried their hand at it in the past 3 weeks.

The TSL started as an open tournament for all players willing to participate and this was possible thanks to the combined efforts of TeamLiquid and iCCup, the latter being the most competitive ladder server at the moment. Regular users and superstars were all submitted to the same rule: get the most points by playing iCCup and you will be able to move on to the next step. Within 3 weeks, we witnessed more than 1700 gamers racing against the clock to get to one of those 48 sweet spots. With that period ended, the first step of the TSL comes to an end.

Now that the dust has cleared, we are left with 48 warriors battling for the crown. As you may already know, the first 16 players will take a break while the remaining 32 players will go through a qualifying round in a best-of-3 format. After that, these 16 winning players will face the top 16; this means that 8 groups of 4 players will be created and the first 2 of each group will move on.

Let's recap the schedule, as well as the prize pool details:

both. They will stream the reps with 30 or 40 minutes delay. But its as good as live because no one will know the result or have the replay.

The commentators will not know the result too and the replay progress bar will be hidden.
