Born in 1986, my first contact to "the media" was in 1993 when my dad (<3) bought my first PC. Some kinda Intel Pentium 66Mhz, if I remember correctly. I tried having fun with his Amiga and Commodore64, but the computer just blew my mind. It was 1995 when the first RTS game appeared in my life: Command & Conquer.

I had tried to get along with Dune II, but C&C just made me nuts. So I had to beg my parents for buying it. Ever since I've been a loyal customer to all Westwood games. In january 1996 my world was shattered by a
game with the strange title of Warcraft II. Compared to C&C there was this really exciting story and thus nice gameplay. I even bought it for Playstation, but playing RTS with a gamepad really sucked. So it was my first and also my last RTS on a console... ;D In 1997 I suddenly broke up with my PC. A new shining star entered the stage: Final Fantasy VII !!! So I vanished 2 years behind the televisoin and my Playstation ^^ After raping every enemy and monster off the impressive world of FFVII for the 346234th time, I became bored of the gamepad.

So my schoolfriend invited me to something they called "LAN-party". As it sounded really exciting to play games with other people in a network, I joined their "party" and made first contact with evil, represented by Counterstrike. Many other LAN-partys followed and I fell for the shooters.

I played alot those days (in the end quite ambitious), but after I had seen many clans come and go, I for the most part stopped spending nearly all of my free time playing (or maybe beacause of my girlfreind? ;>).
Today I'm enjoying a healthy mixture between FPS like CS:S/CS/UT2004 and RTS like C&C/AoE3 & of course Warcraft III. I finished highschool in 2005 and I'm currently busy with my studies for university.
