As most of you already knew the results of the Dutch ESWC qualifiers, I'll just do a picture blog of the event. For those who didn't follow the results of the event -  MYM]Grubby and  srs.Rotterdam took up the top two spots, thus qualifying for the Grand Finals in San Jose, USA which will be from 25th - 28th August. This will be two days after NGL play-offs at Games Convention - Leipzig, Germany which will be from 21st to 23rd August. Thus I guess most players who are involved in both NGL play-offs and ESWC will have to fly straight from Germany to USA. There will not be any direct flights from Leipzig to San Jose, but time is not a big problem for the players as they gain time when they fly to USA because of the timezone difference.

 Infantrist - an upcoming Orc player from Netherlands.

First time we saw him at a qualifier, he plays without headphones but still managed to perform pretty well. He said he is used to playing without sound at home. This time he is wearing a headphone, but don't be fooled, as the headphone is not plugged in! While he's playing, he hears everything you say and joins in the conversation! XD

 Ferocious - a pretty good human player from Netherlands.

TossSpot - who was also at the Dutch ESWC qualifiers to do some shoutcasting for the other games - interviews Grubby.

It's a video interview though we don't know when we will get to see it.

 Sushilicious - an inspiring and talented undead player. He improved alot recently and is probably the third best player in Netherlands at the moment.

 ArminVB[twr] - a Nightelf and Orc player who also plays in Team Netherlands in ENC.

 inhuman hopes to play for Team Netherlands someday.

 Sasuke was the leader of the original twr clan. An inspiring person and leader, he plays really good Nightelf.

A group of us ate dinner together at the Movie Diners, which serves decent food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. In Dutch, we say it was "gezellig". : D

Grubby's dad - Patrick and lovely Sjan. Grubby does not look 100% Dutch because he is a mix of Asian and European. Grubby's dad - a very intelligent man I must say - is half Indonesian and half Dutch. He came to live in The Netherlands at the age of 17 and mastered Dutch in a very short time. Now he is one of the big brains in the company he is working for.

"Verzorgde reis naar het wereldkampioenschap in San Jose"  means "Fully covered trip the the World Championship in San Jose".

Grubby and his daddy at dinner in Friesland, Netherlands. Grubby's dad brought us to an Indonesian restaurant and that's the BEST restaurant we ever dined at in Netherlands so far! Absolutely delicious and most importantly it was authentic. The taste was not altered to suit the Dutch majority like most other Asian restaurants. Will blog more about this next time.
