KODE5 Russia Part 1 *Pictures*

Here are the pictures from my own camera. There are so many that I have to divide them into 2 parts. Part 1 will mainly consist of indoor pictures (from KODE5 event), while Part 2 will be all the outdoor pictures taken in Moscow!

So here goes my picture blog Part 1:

While arriving at the airport, we realised the taxi fares in Moscow is not cheap at all. 2000 rubles (54 Euros) for a 1 hour drive to the hotel. Not expensive compared to European standard, but expensive compared to Asian standard. Afterall, Russia is half European country and half Asian country! :)

During the opening ceremony of KODE5. We saw the "long-time-no-see" Deadman.

The hotel bed is very small, even smaller than a usual single-sized bed.

Look carefully, Grubby is about to show you something weird!

Why is there a big hole in the comforter sheet?!

Later we realised it's like that in every comforter, so we figured that maybe that's the opening to put the comforter into the sheets. What a weird design.. :p

Pato in our hotel room, asking for candies!

Food in the hotel is quite expensive. This little salad that Grubby orders cost 8 Euros! And it's not even tasty.

A pack of stray dogs sleeps together in the street.

Streets of Moscow.

Grubby takes pictures with Russian fans.

Say Cheese!

Deadman - the previous KODE5 winner - on stage.

hoorai.Bro (Bianconero) and srs.RotterDaM.

Enza, Warcraft III Player from Japan.

WE.Infi

GG.Xyligan says "I'm gonna destroy Grubby!"

"What? Don't you believe me? ;D"

GG.Rob is a very tall guy.

With a cute smile.

Deadman

A female "devil with horns" watches as Deadman plays.

DI.Frozen

hoorai.Bringer

Alot of Russian fans watch as Xyligan plays. I like the color of Gravitas Gaming's uniform. Very sporty and striking.

Grubby trying to get through a pretty hard group.

Xyligan's games against Grubby were pretty close. It took alot of effort for Grubby to win 2 - 1. Xyligan had been training hard indeed.

"ot expensive compared to European standard, but expensive compared to Asian standard. Afterall, Russia is half European country and half Asian country! :)"
yeah, but an Asian part of Russia is so far far away from Moscow( never been in Asian Part of my Country ;D).

"Food in the hotel is quite expensive. This little salad that Grubby orders cost 8 Euros! And it's not even tasty."- just a standard Russian service.....

"I like the color of Gravitas Gaming's uniform. Very sporty and striking."
haha, the first time when i met Xyli in this uniform, i thought that this t-shirt is just a t-shirt of one of the Football teams ;D

Cassandra
Well, Pato is not really retired. He has no clan now.. and he has school also.

He will still be playing in qualifers such as WCG. He's a talented player. :)

Are there pro-wc3gamers in Singapore?
(1 month ago)  #34 myMYM|Cassandra
Cassandra
A small number of Singaporeans can play Warcraft III quite decent, but not professionally.

The DOTA standard in Singapore is pretty good though.

Moscow is expensive ? :) and you haven't even seen the really expensive part of the city.
Also you could've get a local guy to help you with the taxi :) the prize you've paid is the one for tourists.
Nice pictures tho , reminded me of my stay @ Moscow

#29 Trust me, Moscow IS expensive :) However, most players were naturally cheated by the taxi drivers, that's right. Pay no more than 1500 roubles when you pay for a taxi! =)
Guess noone is really satisfied with being second best
