The German organization ESL (Electronic Sports League) announced early Sunday that they will be hosting a new league, which will go by the name of RaidCall ESL Major Series One and will feature a total prize pool of $156,000 for the 4 seasons to be held this year. The main sponsor behind the league is RaidCall, a company that has been supporting eSports related events and teams for some time now. The first game announced for the league is Counter Strike: Global offensive, a game that many fans were asking to be included into the Intel Extreme Masters.

Even though not much information has been released to the public, we did learn that the casters for the league will be the well known duo Joe Miller and Paul ´ReDeYe´ Chaloner. There will be matches almost every week for the fans to enjoy, and each of the 4 seasons held this year will culminate with offline finals at a yet undisclosed location.
